Sport Management Association of Thailand (SMAT)

Co-hosted by AASM, SAT, SMAT, PTT (Ltd.),

and DBA&MBA Program in Sport Management at CRU

April 1-3, 2012

Suan Nongnuch, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand

    2012 International Conference for SMAT will be held on April 1-3, 2012 at Suan Nongnuch, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand by the collaboration of AASM, SAT, PTT, and DBA&MBA Program in Sport Management at CRU under the theme of “A Professional Sport Development in Asian.”

    AASM and SMAT are intentionally to create an opportunity of learning networking, and knowledge exchanging for Asian sport personnel and students in the areas of sport management.  AASM and SMAT invites individuals to submit a variety of abstract related to sport management focusing on elite and professional sports development. 

Submission Guidelines: 

Presentations will be available only :

1.  A 20-minute oral presentation (including 5-minute discussion)**

2.  A poster presentation (the size of the board is 90cm x 120cm)

Abstract Format: 

Abstracts must include the following information and conform to the following requirements: 

1. The Official language of this conference is English;

2. Up to 600 words in English using a 12-point Times New Roman font;

3. Presentation title with a 12-point Times New Roman font; authors and institution(s) name(s) with an 11-point Times New Roman font. The presenter’s name should be highlighted ‘Bold’

4. Abstracts must include background and objectives, methods, results, discussion, and keywords.

5. Abstracts should include text only. Figures and tables are not acceptable

6. All abstracts admitted will be published in the proceeding of 2012 SMAT Conference.

7. All Posters will be displayed at the location prepared by organizing committees ( Poster installation will be available on April  1, 2012 from 13.00-17:00 Hrs).

Submission Procedure: 

Uploading abstracts to online contribute system with the following information:

1.Topic area are related to elite and professional sports development which will be possible in particular topics of sport facility management, sport industrial management, and sport marketing and sponsorship ); 

2. The principal author’s e-mail address, postal mailing address, and telephone numbers.

3. Abstract(s) submission indicates the intent of the presenter(s) to register for and attend the 2012 SMAT conference.

Submission Deadline: 

Abstracts MUST be received no later than March 1, 2012. Submissions received after this date will not be accepted or reviewed.

** oral presentations are limitedly available for only 30 articles.
